The following are some great exercise tips that you can keep in mind to help you make the most of your day:

1. Park further away from the mall or grocery store so you get an extra few minutes of walking in. Look for a longer route, rather than the shortest.

2. Put on your favorite music and dance while you are doing your chores. You’d be amazed at how your broom, mop or dust rag can be a great dance partner. (Just remember not to overdo it. You don't want to bounce, jump, excessively twist or make fast movements that could cause you to lose your footing).

3. Lose the remote for your TV. If you want to turn on the television, change the channel or adjust the volume, force yourself to get up and use the buttons on the TV set.

4. Take your time and use the stairs instead of an elevator or escalator whenever you can.

5. Avoid going through the drive thru and get out of your car to make a purchase.

6. When unloading the groceries from your car, only take one bag at a time.

7. Instead of watching TV, go out for a nice walk or a bike ride around the block.

Of course, the farther along you are in your pregnancy, the more you will need to limit your exercise. Listen to your body, and only do the amount you feel comfortable doing. There is no reason for you to push yourself. Exercise should make you feel rejuvenated not rundown.
